Production studio · Tashkent

Where ideas become stories

About the studio

WORKMANSHIP is the production studio of director Gulnara Ivanova. She founded it at the very start of her path: there was no experience yet, only the wish to make films on a big scale. When it became clear that the studio could not be led in the right direction without knowledge, Gulnara put it on hold and went to study.

She came back with a VGIK diploma, festival awards and a team — and in 2025 brought the studio back to life. Like a phoenix.

How we work

01
Idea
We learn the brief and find what the story is really about.
02
Script
We write the script and storyboard and agree on every scene before the shoot.
03
Pre-production
We bring together the crew, cast, locations and equipment and plan the shoot.
04
Shoot
We shoot to the plan: everyone on set knows their job.
05
Post-production
Edit, color, sound and music. We deliver the finished film.
